  • Hello 2009

Happy New Year and be-lated Merry Christmas to everyone!

We've lost a dog already on the first day of this new year, good thing we got him back. We haven't even had him for more than 3 weeks.
I've never made any new year resolution before and no one really sticks to it, but I'm going to make a somewhat new year resolution, but before that

    "My year in review":
    - Create a xanga blog
    - Survived a whole year in Canada
    - Found new friends and stuck with old ones both at this school and my previous school.
    - Donated hair to cancer!
    - Became captain of a basketball team that never wins.
    - Moved into new house.
    - Gone through the exact same thing a couple years ago. 'Love crisis'
    - New dog! Max
    - Having a real Christmas tree for Christmas (at $30 CDN!)
    - Play the Flight of Bumblebee at 96
    - Returned to Taiwan, sold house, met friends, sat around.
    - French :)
    - Programming :)
    - Staying true to God :) :)
    - And a lot more

    "Resolution"
    - Stop being judgemental
    - Make it known to others that I am a Christian
    - Act out of Christian love.
    - Stay true to God.
    - Earn a whole bunch of volunteer hours (hopefully from hospital volunteer and buliding houses)
    - Become awesome at photographing :)
    - Get a summer camp job
    - Do well in Grade 11
    - Win writing contest!
    - Win AT LEAST one baskeball game *please, please, please*
    - Run during summer with Max in the morning

    New things:
I still don't know what I want to be, I know that God has a plan for me but I still need to know what I want to do with the rest of my life. I'm determined to become a surgeon, but I don't know how marriage and children will fit in because I do want to get married and have kids before 30.
I have started to consider UBC, because they offer scholarships, as an option and McGill isn't so much. U of T is still here, except the cost is very high and don't offer much scholarship.

The most important thing is that i need to find out what i want to do with the rest of my life and make sure that God stays at the center of it.
